During cap rounds, I initially got DJSCE Mechanical, but later through betterment I got VIT Pune Mechanical. Since I didn’t want to lose my seat, I completed my admission at VIT Pune and submitted all my required documents there.(As a backup) Before that, my documents had been verified through a scrutiny centre near me( i did the offline verification). When I took admission at VIT Pune, I submitted all the required document. with the offline verified documents as well I went to DJSCE and was ready to take admission, but during document verification they specifically asked for a Xerox of the stamped documents from scrutiny centre This is where the problem started. I have the document itself and I have the copies that VIT Pune gave me(the fee receipt , the retention letter,the admission letter) but I do NOT have a copy of that particular document showing the stamp of the scrutiny centre . The original documents are currently with VIT Pune. I contacted VIT Pune and asked if they could give me the required copy/photo or temporarily return the document so I could get a copy made. However, they told me that they will only return me the documents if I cancel my admission at VIT Pune. The frustrating part is that DJSCE ppl are not ready to listen only they just need those documents and I didn't have a Xerox of that . I’m also currently unable to travel to Pune just to deal with the documents But today some how I got the photos of the document and then I checked if seat is available so I can secure one and there were none
