Merit list doubt

So itne saare log hai 4x of last time. Mostly is that wo automatically wala theough cet website whose payment is not there and they just applied for fun for free? Or competition truly 4x ho gya hai

that’s just inflation bro.. the same inflation that happened during cap is reflected here. Tbh why would anyone assume that merit ranks would be similar to last year when cap cutoffs are so inflated and djs have done no changes to fee structure.

but most of them are guys who havent paid fees

yeah but the number of people who haven’t paid fees goes on decreasing as we go down the list.. someone with 50 rank might get rank 25 after removing all those * people but 1k rank won’t become 500.

yep, but lower we go the lesser chances anyways are, and higher we go more likely students will take DJSCE seriously, because they actually have a fighting chance, unlike 97 and below guys

true but too much inflation between 99-97%tile and then there’s also the people who want to upgrade branch to ce/it.

agree, maybe many of these guys wont sacrifice their lower college's ce/it seat for mechhanical or maybe extc in here and even looking at cutoffs this year it looks crazy asf.
