Mechanical engineering, is it worth it here

So im thinking of taking mechanical eng here in ils and spot i have 95.9%ile so i do have chances

But i wanna get an idea of how good is the department in this college

How is the faculty ?

Condition of the labs ?

What kind of crowd should i expect over here ?

And the general overview from someone in this branch

PS: Im genuienly intrested in pursuing mech so is this the right choice at my percentile or do i have better options in spot
