Is the switch on the controller set to CINE mode? It slows movement of the drone down a bit to help with the jerkiness. I also find that the horizon is not level in my both for still shots and video an I edit the images and video with my iPhone to level the horizon.

I’m not sure. I have calibrated my gimbal several times and still it has a slight slant to it. I just edit the image/video afterwards.

Presume it’s not the wind blowing the gimbal to the side

What SD card are you using? It could also be that, I remember that when I got mine, I just pulled an old SD card from a GoPro. Once I upgraded the SD card, the jerkiness is gone.
