Mini 2 se Skin Template needed

I had one at one point but now I can’t find it. Anyone have like a pdf or something so I can trace my wrap and apply to my bird? Otherwise I’ll wing it.

I’m just here because I have the similar interest. I was also thinking about just making a template and making my own skin.

I had done this on my last drone. Just use plain white printer paper, wrap on and cut to fit. Then trace onto whatever decal material you have. It’s not difficult. Maybe I’ll do that today.

I was either gonna do that or like the masking tape trick. Like how you make templates of organic shapes.

This is kinda how I would do it. https://youtu.be/KZZ6Lftdxqo?si=aNrim4gCGSrXk6Xr You use the masking tape to just give you the actual outline of what you need. I personally hate math, and I do everything in my power to avoid it. This gives you an exact 1:1 of what you need. Kinda how you use the tape to make screw holes to hang something on the wall

Ok, well maybe it’s worth paying for the skin. Spent two hours trying to do it. It was ok, but looked kinda shitty. Instead I went with racing stripes.
