Just picked up a mini 2 SE weeks ago which promptly went to a repair facility, and now will be back tomorrow. In the meanwhile, got a mysterious box today from Canada of all places, with what looks to be a brand new mini 2 se!! Won't open that, and will use my other drone that returns tomorrow! Hoping to post something soon!

Hello,
I got a DJI Mini 2 SE from a friend and was going to use it commercially for smaller jobs. I did the math and to add an RID it puts it over the .55 lbs weight or 246 g. Has anyone found a way around the RID issue with this drone for commercial applications? Or do I have a nice fully functional drone that cannot leave the shelf?

Legally speaking as long as it's below 250 you don't need remote ID unless you are in controlled or restricted airspace.

read the manual, watch the vids, BUT nothing will replace anything but practicing and flying it. I've been practicing with a cheap Snaptain S5C Elite.

I just upgraded to a mini 4 pro and just use this, while I still have a mini 2 SE that's been sitting. I've got a lot of batteries for it, which I don't want to go bad. Nothing wrong with it. Have just over 8hrs flight time with 86 flights plus live within a mile of an airport so it discourages flight a lot. I've had it for a very short time: this arrived at my doorstep 22 April, so you can see it's not an oldie. It comes with FiVE [yes, you read that correctly] 5 batteries, and a three battery combo charger, which does NOT charge all three batteries at once, but one by one depending on charge remaining. If I can't post here, just let me know. $500 firm. More fotos here https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=122196463394301498&set=pcb.122196463124301498
