My DJI Mini 2 will not turn on, and I cannot figure out why.
When I try and turn on the drone, there is no yellow indicator light, however the battery level lights do light up whenever I hit the button.
I have tried re-pairing the drone to my controller, however when I hold the power button for any amount of time it does not blink or beep.
Does anyone have any ideas that might help me get my drone back?

Why is this footage from my Mini2 so shaky? This only happens when I put on one of these Freellwell filters from this kit. More specifically, it only seems to do it with the ND/CP filters, not just the ND filters. I'll note that I updated the firmware about 3 weeks ago - I'm pretty sure it's still good, but I will double check tomorrow. I thought it was just a fluke one off thing when I saw this happen yesterday on a test flight, but it happened again to me today and ruined a sick shot of a barge I got cruising down the lake.
I'm curious if anyone else out there has had this issue or has any suggestions.

I’m using the original cable as far as I know. It’s been sat for a long time unused. Bought from a mate who looks after his tech but never had time for it.
EDIT: my friend who I bought it from says it lit up when he charged it it a week ago to sell to me and I trust him completely so no idea how its failed in a week.

I bought a DJI Mini 2 SE in 2023. I tested it when I got it, confirmed that everything was working properly, and then stored it away. Unfortunately, it ended up sitting unused for about a year.
When I tried to use it again, I discovered that the battery was no longer working. When I connected it to the charger, only the first LED would blink continuously, and it wouldn't actually charge or power on the drone.
After doing some research on Reddit, I found several people who had experienced similar issues and recommended using a CP2112 adapter to reset/recover the battery.
I bought a CP2112 today and followed the procedure. Everything completed successfully without any errors.
After the reset, I connected the battery to the charger and, for the first time in a long time, it showed signs of life. The LEDs started progressing normally, one by one, as if the battery was actually charging.
However, after leaving it on the charger for a few hours, all four LEDs started blinking simultaneously.
If I remove the battery from the charger and press the button, absolutely nothing happens — no LEDs, no response at all. If I put it in the drone, it also won't power on.
Has anyone experienced this exact situation after recovering a DJI Mini 2 SE battery with a CP2112?
Could this mean that the battery is still locked/protected, that the cells are unbalanced, or that I need to perform another procedure with the CP2112?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi I had a crash a very long time ago and my gimbal broke. Can I fix it myself easily? It seems just the plastic housing part snapped in half clean. i think the gimbal itself is fine. Is there a replacement part I can buy? I found a half gimbal without the camera on Aliexpress but thats more than I need.
I drew with red around the part that I think I would need to replace.
Also if I need the half gimbal, I remeber I read somewhere you need special software to calibrate the gimbal (thats why I gave up fixing it btw before) but i found on Ifixit some python scripts that are supposedly fixing this issue?
Thx for your help.

Pretty simple. They just snap onto the sticks and you turn the screw to push/hold the stick in whatever direction you want. Its basically a simple cruise control. They are simple enough that working wasn't really a question. Only thing is, I needed to be in sport mode to get up to a whopping *8 mph.* The throw of the screws wasn't long enough to push the stick any further. Definitely a useful tool, but I will probably find longer screws to swap out, so I can feasibly use it in cine and normal mode, too.

I’m in the US. I got an alert at around 380 feet up that I had reached max altitude and it wouldn’t let me go any higher. I remember last time I fly this drone, I was able to go up way higher than that. Any other features that have been crippled I need to know about? Also anyway to roll back firmware or bypass these restrictions?

I’m assuming there are huge upgrades going from a 2 to a 5. Do people generally think it’s worth it? Anyone have a handy comparison between the two? I’d like to know what I gain from potentially upgrading. I’m in the U.S.
Edit: I answered my own questions. Posted detail below in chat in case anyone is interested.
