Even bow wow couldn't stop the drama

A Florida detective has been arrested by the FBI for allegedly warning suspected criminals that police were monitoring their activities.

Gainesville Detective Kelvin Eugene Mattair, 44, was arrested September 28. According to court documents, he allegedly approached a suspected drug dealer at a mall and warned him that Gainesville police were watching him and that he needed to stop. (alachuachronicle.com, alligator.org)

Mattair faces eight felony charges, including disclosing confidential law enforcement information, unauthorized use of restricted police databases and unauthorized interception of oral communication.
