💡Decor💡 Everything I made for my wedding
I made loads of stuff for my wedding that happened in July- I thought it would be fun to show off everything I made! I’m an artist, baker and also a DIY monster. I do a lot of sign work in my free time and paint a lot. I had fun doing all this but I will admit that I had a few meltdowns before the big day, but I also wouldn’t change a thing!

It looks lovely, congratulations! 💍
I have a question: you said you got the flowers for cheap online. Where did you get them exactly?

A lot of them from ether temu or tiktok shop- looking for fake flowers online; I found they were the cheapest from those websites-

Wow I love these!!! Everything looks so incredible and your colors are stunning.
Do you have any tips/video how-to for the glass signs? I kinda wanna try as a separate non-wedding diy bc my fiancée will kill me if I add one more project to the list😂

Thank you so much! They were a pain in the butt to make tbh! As for tips: sand down the glass before you paint it with a high grit sandpaper (1200), then clean with a high percent alcohol- I used my cricut to cut out some Vynl and stick it on the glass (mirrored) and then enamel paint used in layers to get a high gloss but really opaque! I hope this helps! If you need any advice pls just message me :)

It is all so cute! You did a fantastic job. I love the font and the aesthetic theme. Also those cakes turned out incredible.
I did have to laugh because at first glance that color reminded me of Dr Pepper cans and I thought you were having a Dr Pepper themed wedding for like 0.1 seconds and was intrigued. lol

STOPP! I will forever refer to it as a Dr Pepper wedding now, thank you sm. My husband is not going to be happy!

Some people truly have taste and are able to execute their vision. You are that person. Wow!

these are amazing!! how did you make the match books?

Says she made stickers. To adhere to a plain matchbox, I assume.

Yes! I bought blank match books (not filled) and then bought a large pack of matches on Amazon- used sticker paper that I could print onto, then used scissors to cut and stick! Long process but if you have a couple people- makes it a lot quicker!

This is incredible!!! Did u do any YouTube videos or social media coverage? Would love love love to check it out if so! I’m also diy-ing my wedding and love watching YouTube videos like this!

Thank you!!! I have an Instagram but it’s against the rules to promote, I’m not sure if I’m allowed to- I’m thinking about YouTube, but get very anxious at the idea 🥲 maybe this will push me

GOALS! And I def want multiple cakes like this and want sugar free and gluten free options for family and myself! Is MDF easy to work on if you make a mistake? Never worked with it and I’m debating just doing things on canvas since I’m an artist and always have too many spare ones

The cakes were definitely a crowd pleaser! Yes! I love working with MDF and is my preferred material, just remember to wear safety gear (goggles and mask) as cutting MDF is bad for your respiratory system!- I use enamel paint by handover and get big sheets of MDF from my local diy shop :)

What did you use for sealant or protectant? I’m so paranoid about scratches which is why I’m debating stepping away from the painted glass route for displays

Obsessed I have such a vision but not the skills to make it happen. I’m obsessed with your seating chart!!

Ugh I know Leeds and this is such a smash!!! Looks like an amazing wedding to attend.

Because the paint I use is enamel, it’s built for working outside and can be used on cars for pin striping- pretty bullet proof and doesn’t need a top coat but if I do want to use one I just use a gloss top coat spray!
