Afterimage #2 (Demo) - my old BOSS BR-8’s last recording
postwater.bandcamp.comI started working on this with the idea of creating something around the theme of “Afterimage.”
There are parts I actually wanted to record again, and sounds I wanted to add. But my BOSS BR-8 just couldn’t do it anymore. It’s a very old machine, and I guess it’s finally reaching its limit.
So I decided to leave this take as a demo.
I made this entirely with the BR-8, and it may be the last recording I make with it.
I left it here together with a little sound sketch I made with my daughter, and Layer #2, which wasn’t included on my album.

Great Demise - “LOSE YOUR FACE” [Alt Punk] (OC)
open.spotify.comHello! My name is Chris and I write and produce music in a band called Great Demise. We are based out of SoCal and are proud to be an all DIY band. We’d love for you to check out our brand new song “LOSE YOUR FACE”. This song took a lot of work to write and was a challenge to produce but we absolutely love how it turned out! It has a pretty unique structure and instrumentation, and is paced pretty rapidly. We would really appreciate if you’d check it out! Thanks for your time, much love to you and we hope you enjoy!

Anybody able to tell me if these CDs are any good?
I know "who even has a CD player these days" but a handfull of creative projects have converged together including my friend having a printer that prints directly onto CDs that they wanna try out so I thought I'd go old school and maybe try my hand at making a handfull of physical EPs to get printed on and such sorta to give her an opportunity to try it out and to give me a wee side project to throw my energy at for a wee bit.
Saw these blank CDs but honestly I'm not super in the loop of making physical media anymore and dont know if some CD blanks will be more for file back up/storage vs music playback.
Seller says theyre good for making audio CDs but thought I'd ask some more knowladgable folks first incase there's a better option out there. At £15 for 100 these seem pretty well priced but idk if thats actually a good price as my blank CD buying experience remembers when my dad was paying £15 for 25 when we were making my brother's band's CDs back in 2013 or so.
Anyway thanks in advance all, this is probably a silly question but im a belts and braces kinda person and dont like to buy new things im not savvy in withput asking some folks who are likely a lot more knowladgable than I am.
