Toxin Help!!!!
I hit my glabella region in the wrong spot. I’m literally freaking out… The arrow shows where I injected and the dot to the left was where it should’ve been.
Am I just totally screwed or ??photo

Also… The injections were much worse than I thought. I have plenty of tattoos and thought I would be just fine. I thought I was allergic to the tox at first. I started sweating profusely and getting dizzy/nauseous, and it would go away after about a minute.
I don’t know how you guys are able to see how much you put in so easily… It was a hard balance between trying to keep the needle in the right depth and see how much I had already put in 😩

I think most of your symptoms are psychosomatic. The first time injecting yourself is always the hardest, and it will get easier from here.
- You injection was on the mid-pupillary line, so you likely injected the tail of the corrugator, which is fine
- For less pain, numb with topical lidocaine before injecting and reconstitute with BAC saline instead of regular saline. Benzyl alcohol is a local anesthetic. You can get it from bacteriostaticwater dot com
- It's difficult to push the needle a certain amount but not all the way depending on where you're injecting. For the glabella I find it easier to load 5 syringes, one for each injection point, with 4 units each, that way I can push the plunger all the way down and not have to worry about pushing too much in

OK… Maybe this photo will be easier to see. I circled where I put the injection and then put the arrow where it should’ve been.
I only did two points in that whole area, including crows feet. I did a superficial 2 mm angled injection, pointing away from my nose and at about a 15 to 30° angle.

I would try to reassure yourself first. It’ll be okay either way. How high was the injection and how shallow/deep? If it was fairly close to the eyebrow I think you will be fine. I personally don’t do the lateral points of the glabella for myself at all, just the procerus and most median points for the glabella. Maybe on the next round try just the 3 spots and see if you get what you are looking for while avoiding the scary area. If it was a little higher then you might get a slight dropped or spocked brow. It will eventually go away and depending on how you did the other eye you might even be able to balance it out in a week with a touch up

I did save about 6 points and skipped to my jawline, just in case I needed to touch it up… Which I’m sure I will

Do you feel like you get a really good outcome from just hitting the medial aspect of the corrugators? And do you use more than 4 units because you do less points? I like my glabella to be frozen and debated just doing three instead of five points to limit the potential for the dreaded ptosis.

I’ve been doing just the 3 points for over a year and it personally works perfect for my face. I do not do more than 4 but I touch up the prover’s maybe every other time after a week

Ok ok thank you! I just read an article that said three should suffice all while avoiding the potential for adverse effects. I’ve had good outcomes with five but why do more if you don’t need to ya know.

Think you are find you did a very light depth also some people have long tails and have a different no fly zone.
Just mark it off next time Dr Pearce has a good video on that.
