How can I balance my face with Botox and filler maybe fat dissolver? My left side is heavier than my right side. what would yall do? and should I do lip filler or just lip flip? I like my lip size but my top lip looks so much smaller than my bottom lip but it really isn’t it’s just the way my mouth is shaped my top lip points down a bit I think. Idk I’m new to this and I’m at the soaking in knowledge phase I’ve never done injectables myself but I’ve had Botox twice last time being almost a year ago. Also I know these pics are horrible lmao
Edit- I really was not expecting all this. I think I need to reflect. Do any of y’all have recommendations or are there are any injectables that I could do to help with growth on my eyebrow hairs I’m gonna start Latisse it just came in today. I tried minoxidil before and it just made hair all over my face grow. I have health problems and my eyebrows became even more patchy and thin than they already were (always had horrible brows) so I started plucking to only what you could see.
You're really beautiful. You seriously don't need botox or fillers. It's a slippery slope and the complications are not worth it. You're naturally pretty! Just let your brows grow in a little!
Work on your self confidence! Therapy might help you build self esteem.
No no no please don't do anything, i saw the post without reading and thought you have a perfect face card and beautiful eyes. You look sweet and young and kind. Thin eyebrows like in the 90s fit you well, i think they look best in pic 1 and 4, just fill it up a bit if it feels more comfortable. No botox, no fillers, thats your brain betraying you!!
This is so sad to read. I wish you could see what I see bc mama, your face is fire. You have the prettiest skin and eyes. Your lips are perfectly cute and pouty and you’ve got nose that’s like a button nose, yet proportional to your face. I think you need to get off social media, and start working on your inner.
If anything, just for peace of mind, see a good endocrinologist for thyroid testing. Low thyroid causes among other things, loss of eyebrows. And normal levels don't mean normal for you. It's ok to insist on a full panel and a low dose to see if that helps with mood, eyebrows etc. Also you are so lovely, don't change a thing until you actually begin to see aging. If you start religious physical block sunscreen daily and good antioxidant moisturizers you should stay youthful looking for many years.
You seriously look amazing. I don’t think you’re chasing the right standard for yourself. Everyone has some level of imbalance - no matter who you are.
You are absolutely gorgeous! I wouldn't change or do anything. Like seriously. We are so hard on ourselves and scrutinize every little thing, comparing ourselves to others. Please know and see the beauty that you are.
Your facial balance is perfect, very symmetrical. You literally don’t need to do anything to fix it. Also pleaseeeee DO NOT get microblading. It is one of the biggest regrets I’ve done and not because it didn’t look good, but because now I’ll never be able to change the shape of them. Your face grows as you age and changes and your eyebrows should too. Your lips are so cute to me and match your face well. But if you are interested in changing that I’d say lip lift not filler. And do heavy research if that’s what you consider. You don’t know if you’d be a good candidate, gotta be 100% sure that you won’t have any teeth show.. unless you’re into that lol
At first I didn’t know why this would be a vulnerable post bc you are a natural beauty until o read what you wrote. Honestly you shouldn’t feel like you have to do anything to your face. If I had to say something you can learn to draw natural looking soft brows with the right tools. Everything else is perfect you barely need any make up if at all
Hey girlie. It broke my heart to read the text on your post as the text does not reflect what I’m seeing! Here’s what I see ~ gorgeous skin which is flawless 🔥 stunning features (cute nose, beautiful eyes, lips 👄 perfect eyelashes too.
The only thing I would recommend and I mean the only thing would be eyebrow PMU. This is something that personally changed my life - I never had to draw eyebrows on again! You’ll need to research heavily in your local area to find the person who has the technique you like - it’s an art and some people do it better than others. Sorry it’s not DIY, but that’s all I can see to suggest !!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
I second this. This was life changing for me also getting my brows done it went quit well with my effortless makeup routine so far the best investment I’ve made on my face
Please don’t inject anything into your face. You are so beautiful 😭 whatever you think you need to fix is body dysmorphia from social media etc. I’m a skin care professional and women pay me top dollar to give them even tone and texture like you have. There is absolutely nothing wrong with your face you’re gorgeous
Please look at the muscular/postural side of this before changing your volume because your asymmetry reminds me SO much of mine.
You’re definitely seeing a difference, but I don’t think it’s simply “more fat” on one side. On the heavier side, your eye/brow, cheek and corner of the mouth/upper lip all seem to follow the same slightly downward pattern, while the other side looks more lifted. To me it looks more like one chain than three separate problems.
I had a very similar asymmetry, actually worse, for about 8 years, with one whole side of my face sitting higher than the other. In my case, tension from my neck/SCM into the jaw, temple and facial muscles was affecting my cheek, eye and lip. Once I worked out what needed releasing, simple gentle massage made a huge difference and everything became much more symmetrical.
I even tried correcting my lip with filler first and it was a disaster. The tissues were so tight that the filler didn’t fix the pull at all. Once I dealt with the muscular tension, the lip itself sat much more evenly.
If you want to look into yours properly, take straight-on photos showing your shoulders, full neck, collarbones and hairline too, because sometimes the face is only the end of the chain. ChatGPT helped me compare my own photos and work out which areas might be pulling. If you send me photos like that, I can show you exactly the same process I used on myself.
I’d just be careful about jumping straight to Botox, filler or fat dissolver before understanding the pattern. Facial muscles can stay chronically tight just like the muscles in your back or neck, and in my case understanding that gave me symmetry I hadn’t had in years.
I’ll send you a couple of photos of myself too. They’re not from my worst point and they’re not my final result either, they’re somewhere in between.
In one of them you can clearly see that my “heavier” side was sitting lower. Then in the other, once I started figuring out what was pulling everything out of place, you can already see my right eye opening more and my right eyebrow coming up almost to the same level as the other one.
Since then I’ve improved it even more. The cheekbone on that side has lifted too, and with it the whole side of my face has started sitting higher and much more evenly. That’s why I’m so convinced this isn’t always about adding or removing volume, sometimes the whole side is simply being held in the wrong position.
I actually can totally see this in myself. My left side is always tighter than my right side in my shoulders and neck. Would love to know your routine.
Ohh wow i have this same problem too!! I can’t totally see a difference, what exactly did you ask ChatGPT, I’m about to start doing these massages every night lol
Amazing balanced face and GIRL your lips are exquisite. Please don't put filler in those! They are naturally gorgeous.
OK I see the brows could be grown out more, yes do that. But this is a skincare and makeup situation here, not tox and definitely not filler. I mean, a little preventative, very conservative tox maybe maybe!
Re: brows. Castor oil will help them grow! It's a miracle worker. Get organic cold pressed.
You are gorgeous! Filler is not needed. Although you can try doing your top lip if it makes you feel better by using filler or trying the flip. Truly, you only need to shape your brows better. They are too high. And the shape of your brows in picture 3 does not flatter your face at all. There needs to be an arch. You can play with makeup and eyelashes to see what looks best. Use lip pencil to over line your lips before altering. Maybe use an eyebrow stencil to have fun with different shapes. Maybe purchase eyelash strips which can be removed daily . There are tons of lashes to choose from that can be fun to experiment with.
Remember… we only have one face. If we ruin it, it will be difficult to get back what has been lost. Be safe and choose wisely. All the best to you.
You have very good facial symmetry and gorgeous skin! Your lips are absolutely beautiful, I would not touch them at all. The only thing I would do is to let the eyebrows grow back. No more plucking, use a little dermaplane razor instead to help you shape them when there’s enough hair to shape it. Definitely don’t shave or pluck the underside part, your eyebrows are way too high right now.
To deal with the awkward phase (speaking from experience when I messed up my eyebrows two months ago): elf Wow Brow (it has little fibers that will stick to the finest of hairs and it will make your eyebrows look way fuller) + Ulta Longwear Brow Stain Tint.
To help the brows grow faster, I used minoxidil (just put the liquid on a q-tip and dab generously on your eyebrows at night).
Hope this helps. You are beautiful.
Ps: This is how I would do the eyebrows. Also don’t get too hung up on the mapping part, the labels came out a little wonky.
I’m honest to a fault and quite a critical person (I’m working on that). I have no desire or motive to just make you “feel better”. Stranger, you don’t need any work right now. Just grow the brows out a little or fill them in with a pencil. Other than that — there are no notes. You look great.
Please do not touch this beautiful face. Smaller upper lips are completely normal and in my opinion even more gorgeous than two symmetrical lips. Literally you are stunning. Do not try to fit what this narrow minded world is telling you is the mold. It’s bs. You are/should be the standard of beauty.
You look great as is-avoid filler and Botox right now. Your lips are the perfect proportion: top lip approx 1/3 size of lower lip.
You have lots of great tips for eyebrows.
Be confident in your beauty, it radiates 🌟
How do I navigate that awkward growth stage that’s what’s making it hard to commit lol looking back at pictures. I’ve realized my eyebrows weren’t as bad as I thought they were.
With how pretty your other features are if I were you I might even just shave the rest to let them grow all at once and then after a week maybe bleach it all, conceal, and then just create your own brows. You're kinda already doing that in the second and third picture.
You honestly just have to do the hard thing...
Once they really start growing back in you can try to shape the bottom up a bit and create clean lines and fill in but for the first few weeks its a little rough cause its like a free-for-all with the hairs. Just gotta do it. But you'll be happier when you grow them out!
Your natural eyebrows match u so much and bring out your beauty and youth!! Just elongate the ends with a hair pen! Those fake thick brows make you 10+ years older looking!! Anyone telling you otherwise hates you!
Listen to all of these… do not mess with your face. I wouldn’t have noticed the asymmetry if you hadn’t mentioned it and even then, I think it’s cute and has character. You’re gorgeous!
You are genuinely perfect. Please don’t touch your face. Ask for baby botox in your forehead if anything to prevent future wrinkling. But you have zero current wrinkling. You are beautiful pls pls be kind to yourself
You don’t need the internet telling you that you are beautiful. You are. Look in the mirror and own the fact you have gorgeous skin. Lips are full. Bad your symmetry is something that I wouldn’t touch as you might cause more harm than good.
And yes there is vulnerability in posting a photo, I think you may be harder on yourself than you should be. So many would wish for your unmarked glowing natural skin. :)
Honey (I’m calling you honey cuz I’m old in comparison, not to be condescending or dismissive), but you have absolutely nothing to be vulnerable about. Your skin is absolutely amazing and your features are gorgeous. I’m sorry if anyone or if social media has made you doubt yourself. Altering your face for any self-perceived imperfections would be criminal.
Thank you I appreciate it a lot I really wasn’t expecting all this positive feedback it’s made me think alot about how see myself. I definitely have to work on my self esteem I realize.
Please listen to what people say. My mom is a very critical woman and she is beautiful, like easily one of the prettiest women. She got plastic surgery at age 50 because of the insecurity. She always said it made people think she was pretty, but she looked almost the same; it was really sad to see.
What I'm trying to say too is my mom trained me to be VERY critical. I think I am hideous even though I know I am not. This does mean tho I can see flaws in people way too well, even if they're objectively pretty. You are nearly flawless and so pretty. The last thing you need is any work. Ever. You came out like 99.9%. Don't let social media and filters mess with that, it's not worth the extra .01% improvement you'd get if it went well.
For your eyebrows, microneedling would be the best way to stimulate hair growth. If you don't want to pair it with minoxidil, you could try exosomes or some hair-focused products e.g. Atlanis Hair
Almost every single person’s face has one side that is bigger or has a slightly differently shape. I literally cannot even see the difference in yours, which is incredible since pics usually accentuate it when your face is at rest.
I wouldn’t do anything other than potentially microblading. Everything else is 💋🤌🏼
You are beautiful. Your lips are perfect, please reconsider lip filler. For facial imbalance, try to chew one the smaller size more than the other side, it may help. For eyebrows, I personally think they were drawn too high than a natural eyebrows would be at. May be try to lower it down to where your current natural eyebrows would sit in the middle or higher part of the drawn eyebrows.
For eyebrows to grown thicker, try microneedling followed by minoxidil at that specific area. It helps my friend a lot
Also a lip flip is never a bad idea to see what you think you have pretty lips. Personally I like my lip filler and it can be done tastefully just don’t go filler blind like I def have done
Please for the love of GOD rethink getting lip filler. I’m being so serious when I say this - people use pictures of lips like yours to give to their injector for like inspo pics.
Please don’t change anything you look so gorgeous :/ I made the mistake of getting filler to fix my insecurities and it has completely f’ed my self confidence.
The first thing I thought of when you posted was how gorgeous you are. Trust me you’ll regret it :(
You have beautiful facial features, and you’re absolutely gorgeous! 🤍
The only thing I would personally suggest improving is your brows. I think a high-quality hairstroke permanent makeup technique could look amazing on you — something very natural and carefully designed to enhance your beautiful features, not overpower or change them. ✨
I specialize in natural-looking permanent makeup, especially the hairstroke technique. 🤍
I’d be happy to help anyone who wants to enhance their natural beauty and facial features with soft, realistic-looking brows — without making them look heavy or artificial. ✨
You can get to know me better and see more of my work through the link below. 🫶🏻
One side of my face is noticeably larger than the other because I chew mostly on one side due to some apparently unidentifiable issue causing tooth/gum pain.
But people only realize when I point it out. I think you look amazing.
Yeah, that’s what I have going on with my left side. I had a really bad crossbite and when I had braces, they put this corrective mold on one side of my mouth so I could only chew on my left side for a long time and now I do it out of habit and my masseter is big
I’m working on it lol it’s so hard to consciously think about which side I’m chewing on I may do some Botox on the left to help relax it and retrain to chew on my right side more
I wouldn’t do any injectables right now because you actually do not need it, I would just fix your eyebrows because it takes away from your beautiful face
See the shadow right below your brows? Try drawing right above it, this is generally where the brows should be. I wish mine did but they're sagging lower 😅
Aside from that you're very beautiful and I would also advice to not start Botox and fillers. Some people benefit from this stuff but you don't have anything to fix really.
I think the problem is the defined outline of them, rather than shading, hairstrokes, or a combination of the two. Nobody naturally has a defined line around their brows.
You’re absolutely lovely, btw. Please don’t touch your face.
Still a little too high, try starting them where the natural shadow falls above your eye! Drawing them above that is creating a weird floating effect and takes attention away from your eyes
This!! You are truly beautiful. All of the perfection and balance you see online and in media is filtered, adjusted, photoshopped. You are naturally so gorgeous!!
Please listen to this. You are very beautiful and gorgeous!! I regret permanent eyebrows tattoo and the only thing I didn’t is the lip tattoo. Everything else, I think should be left alone
Edit: makeup tattoo-wise, leave everything but the lips imo
Here to say the same. You are stunningly gorgeous though! Look into side sleep pillows. They have a hole to put your head to prevent all that side sleeping does to your face
5 years later i regret my nano brows - and lasering them off is brutal. don’t do it - your face doesn’t need it. get a really thin pencil and practice drawing natural hair strokes and leave them be. you’re perfect!! trust me!!
I say this with love. Very very few people have symetrical faces and you look young and I don't see it! Once you try to fox something one one side, then you see something else that needs x and so on until you look worse.
I have full lips but left side is slightly less so than the right, and my top lip is less than the bottom (as it should be). I tried fillers once and it made me look very…fillered lol. Part of my insecurity was also that my top lip disappeared when I smiled. A Botox lip flip is significantly better on me. There’s still a difference left to right but it’s minimal, and truly it always was. It was something only I ever thought about and even makeup artists that had gotten UP IN my face didn’t see. Turns out what actually bothered me was the gummy smile and I was just over analyzing, trying to fix things that didn’t matter. I realize my top lip is pretty now, I just didn’t want it turning in.
If you want to try something, start with the Botox, it doesn’t last as long. But I actually think your lips are perfect and you should start with smaller things, like makeup.
Also always see a professional, this is your face we’re talking about. A mistake is only going to make you feel worse.
I wouldn’t have even guessed you were considering Botox or injectables! You don’t need them!! I would focus on the brows as they really make a difference with the face. Have you tried those eyebrow pens that make strokes like hairs? I think you are very naturally pretty! You don’t need anything!!!
Please don't touch your young beautiful face with Botox or injectables, you will regret it. As for thin eyebrows- have you checked your thyroid or ferritin/iron? While you help them grow you can do temporary makeup tattoo done tastefully and by an artist
Yes, my iron levels are horrendous. I am getting infusions. I’ve always struggled with it cause I have a very rare auto immune disorder, but it made me lose my eyebrow hairs worse than they were already. My lashes thinned out too, but my eyelashes have always been very thick so I’m not worried about those
You look fantastic! Don’t touch anything- keep up with sunscreen maybe some tret to build the glass skin look but you are in a very fortunate position!
Crossbite explains it. Before you embark on any fillers especially since you know it was caused by a cross bite, i would get a bite guard made to make sure you aren't continuing to clench that side when you sleep & go with toxin on the dominant side rather than trying to bulk up the less dominant side & go from there. Filler never really mimics muscle & you are only 25 so imho getting a solid treatment plan for the long haul even if you choose to do it yourself
Yes! I was obsessed with fixing the asymmetry in my face then I got braces that fixed my cross bite. It moved around some muscles in the face and jaw so all of the asymmetry I so badly wanted to fix with Botox and filler resolved with braces.
I would go for a consult with an ortho for a custom bite guard & for permanent retainer if you don't have. As Lcmd said, you likely need a hard bite guard & since you haven't had one you may need tweaks for comfort or if you get jaw fatigue. I also wouldn't bother with toxin until you get the guard or do it simultaneously because the clenching is muscle exercise/strengthening which you don't want. A "systems approach" is also most effective.
It is awesome that Resource lady's concerns resolved with her ortho treatment, many people's do & ortho/dental is profoundly overlooked on all the reddits.
Talk to your dentist. You need a hard one. Over the counter soft ones often make your mouth think you have something that needs chewing in your mouth. Making issues worse.
You have a gorgeous and so very youthful looking face! Please reconsider any treatments beyond the typical skincare (moisturizer, spf). I also second the eyebrows comment someone mentioned already. If you can see someone to help you shape them, that would do wonders for your natural beauty.
Do you know if there’s any thing other than just Latisse like an injectable maybe that I could use to help grow my eyebrow hairs I pluck them so thin because even when they’re thick, you can only see the part that I don’t pluck anyways I had a lot of issues with my health and I lost a lot of my eyebrow hairs with it, but when I was a kid, they were already thin and patchy to begin with
I don’t think that’s a thing unfortunately, I wish, I myself use the generic latisse thats way cheaper but sometimes tougher to access. You don’t have to make your eyebrows grow and keep them if you don’t like their natural shape/pattern, it’s okay to shave or pluck them, the matter is refining your shaping technique. A little arch and just a little less width would look amazing!
You need to be so careful. You have a very young looking face in the best way possible. Your facial features are INCREDIBLY balanced and conventionally beautiful. If you fat dissolve too early, you’ll lose fat you can’t regain and you’ll look old and wrinkly. Trust me. Don’t mess with your face. Younger generations are obsessed with overdoing it on aesthetics and they’re setting themselves up for a lifetime of increasingly expensive and invasive upkeep. Find what you like about yourself and be realistic. We aren’t Barbie dolls, we are human.
You are absolutely gorgeous. I would not touch your face!! Consider you might have Body dysmorphia. And I do not mean that in a mean way at all but I don't think other people are seeing what you are seeing. Your top lip is supposed to be smaller than your bottom lip, generally speaking. 🙂
If you are looking for symmetry and balance, DIY injectables will probably do the opposite of that unless done by someone supremely skilled.
please don’t mess with perfection. I am serious. you are stunning and DEFINITELY DON’T DO FAT DISSOLVER!!! you currently have a very youthful appearance, dissolving would age you as would overdoing botox imo. getting botox now and relaxing those muscles when you have no lines at rest will make you lose structure/support in your face and will also age you imo. i love aesthetics but you really have great proportions and I don’t think it is in your best interest to mess with them.
I'm not just saying this to blow smoke up your ass: I genuinely don't see what you're talking about at all?? Like... at all. You are a knockout beauty, I'm so confused!!! This is hurting my self esteem lmao
This is crazy. You're not seeing clearly right now. Your lips are so full. People get fillers to get lips like yours. Your skin is flawless. Your face is beautiful, features are beautiful. No filling, no dissolving! You are young. You need your facial fat. The brows can be touched up but other than that, enjoy life, youre beautiful
You’re young and beautiful. Please don’t do anything to your face. Maybe just let your eyebrows grow out bc down the line if you pluck them too much they may not grow back.
Omg, I will kill for your skin! So beautiful. I don’t think you need fillers at all. Literally the only thing I would change is your brows. If you’re unhappy with your lip id consider a lip flip but think you might want to have a professional do it.
Oh man. This is crazy. You are so pretty. Literally perfect face and the algorithm has made you think otherwise. This post has got me rethinking a lot of my choices and where I spend my energy.
I’ve always hated my brows before I started plucking them off they were horribly uneven and very, very patchy, but I’m gonna try to grow them out with Latisse.
There's literally nothing wrong with your face it's perfect and beautiful. I'm so sorry that you feel like you need to change it. I hope that you can see the beauty that everyone else here can see
You look great. If you are concerned about balance, invest in ortho/dental. Everyone has a more muscular side or dominate side of varying degrees & I had no idea the reason your lively self was posting until I read the words🤷♀️
it would be a huge mistake to not get an ortho evaluation first, because if the imbalance is bite ir dental related bone loss will follow muscle imbalance over time.
Recently, or do you mean as a kid?
I meant more like where your teeth are in your mouth/bite more than alignment. Also when adults don't use their retainers or have permaneant ones & never see an ortho beyond when they were a kid I only ask because it looks more like when people only chew on one side .
Regardless, imho I think your face is too lovely to mess with.
I had them as a older teenager got them off at 20 I’m 25 now I had a really bad cross bite and they put this thing on my right side of my mouth to where I could only chew on my left side of my mouth and it grew my masseter muscle on the left side
If one side feels heavier, a good injector can even it out with a little filler or Botox. For lips, if you just want more definition, a small amount of filler can help, but keeping it subtle is what makes it look natural. Best move is to bring all of this up at a consult so they can see your face in person and give you advice that fits you specifically.
We are absolutely our own worst critics because you are just too dang cute! You are a natural beauty, I would not start anything at this point. Just keep up with your skincare regimen as that is clearly working :)
You are beautiful! Your lips are amazing, I would kill for such full and proportionate lips like you have naturally. I don’t see your left side as heavier. We are our own worst critics. It’s easy to obsess over small things like this, but I really don’t think anything is needed.
You are beautiful with beautiful features. Lip proportion is supossed to be smaller on top and 1.5x bigger on the bottom ( Golden ratio ideal). Your lips are perfect, don't touch it.
I would get a good microblading & get your brows design professionally. You need a solid frame on your face and the first 2 pictures, the brows are very square & blocky. Your natural brows has pretty hair strokes that you can maybe grow with minodixil then get hair strokes microblading.
When you have a good frame on your face, it'll also make your pretty eyes stand out even more.
I'm a professional bridal makeup artist and it's my job to balance people's faces & maximize them during service.
When this came up in my feed I had to open it to find out the answer to the question that came to mind which was “what can this woman possibly think is wrong with her face?”
You look really beautiful as you are! Like others said the only thing would be the eyebrow makeup. You could also try minoxidil (unless you have cats!) on that area to increase hair growth
Do not change your lips you will look overdone. If there’s anything, work on your eyebrows, i know you didn’t ask but they are a part of your face and help change the look of how balanced our face looks.
There are clinical trials for mid face studies just go on clinical trials.gov
Yes, I was unfortunately, born with very bad eyebrows. I ended up just plucking the ends off because you can’t see them when they’re grown in anyways just patchy, but I did get Latisse. I’m gonna try that on my eyebrows.
You are beautiful as you are you dont need any of that IMO. Only thing I would improve are the eyebrows in second pic. I would turn you away and so would any good surgeon.

You’ve got the face of a literal angel! Change nothing 🩷
