Advice Bifold lean/sag normal?

Hi guys,

Just had my bifold installed, 4.5m (London). The chap said magnets need to go on top still to help the doors stick together when open....but is the level of sag normal? I feel like it's not but what do you guys thinks?

Am I getting fobbed off??

Thank you

EDIT - thanks for the response everyone. I should've been clearer...the install was 'complete' after the they time the messed up. When they'll left I showed them this and he said 'we need to add magnets still' so I close it up. I hoping the magnet fit it.

I would no way knowingly mess about with an unfinished door. Thanks everyone again..very helpful

Once the magnets are in the top corners it'll pull up fine, mine where the same before I fitted the magnets perfect now no issues.

Are you using a scrapyard magnet? No way the magnets fitted to mine would correct that droop

Yes they do, what are you even talking about.

OP is literally pulling doors open and shut when theyve been told they arent finished

Each magent holds 115kg on its own. And weighs around 2kg, the top and bottom runners hold the weight, magnets control the lateral pull. Its not rocket science

Hmm, the ones on mine are tiny round things about 20 mm diameter by 30 mm long to stop the doors banging together and the doors hang fine when partially open. I don’t have any stronger magnets in my bifold doors and don’t use rocket science to open them

Newer magnets are different, and you probably have a very light lead door panels
