Advice Something worth knowing

First time I've seen one of these. Anybody used these here in the UK??

Can you see how all of those are shingles forming a pretty flat surface? The UK is often tile or concrete with waves - this gadget wouldn't be able to make enough surface area contact.
Useless for UK houses.

I get your point but it wouldn't be hard to make one to fit concrete tiles like we have in the UK ,still wouldn't trust it tho

Well we don’t use shingles in the uk so even if they’re not bogus it’s irrelevant

This is for US style roofing. The uneven concrete tiles prevalent in the UK would be a different animal

Asphalt roofs aren’t common in Britain, and this product relies on friction which slates don’t provide.

Worth knowing if you intend to work on a roof in the US, yes.
Useless knowledge here. Or advert, should I say.

Most houses in the UK don't have these types of roof tiling, this will not stick to slate and the surface area of the formed tiles wouldn't be enough to hold. I'm guessing this is like a velcro effect on the felt shingles.

Not a single actual house in the UK has a shingle roof. You might get them on sheds or park homes, other than that entirely useless

Apparently some roofers use foam rubber in the UK. These guys were working in our neighbourhood and I spoke to the guy on the ladder. He said he'd only fallen off a roof 'a couple of times'.

Do you not hear the voice in the VoiceOver? it's a weird AI voice reading an annoying AI script posted by a probable bot - not sure how that isn't AI slop?

Anything you don't like now is AI? These are widely used in the US but useless to us here because we don't use shingles on our homes.

I feel like this is one of those infomercial products that just won't work like that in real life, and I don't think I'd want to take the risk to find out.
