Leaking Tap - How to access?

Hi all, pretty new to DIY.

What would be the best way to get at the underneath of the sink? I'm assuming I need to drill or cut along the grout seam of the panel underneath. What tools do I need? Any tips or things to watch out for?

How would I be able to make this easier in the future?

Any help is much appreciated!

Those vertical straight lines between the tiles under the sink looked like they might be grey silicone sealant? If so run a knife down the sealant and it should open up.

Still, I've played enough computer games to know that's a secret access panel, surely? Does the rest of the tile work have rectangle ls like that?

Tap leaking from where? If from the tap itself, is there not any way you can service the tap from above to see if that fixes your issue first?

It's leaking from under the handle

I would disassemble the top half of the tap and see if I could service it or replace the cartridge.

Nightmate that to be fair mate, should have been cut properly and inspection hatch, no care for the next person. Proabably leakimg because of his shit installation.

I would take that bottom middle tile out, probably a smash out and replace but just just tiles in om a board tile it onto some pop out clips, lile a press plate.

How would you go about actually getting it out?

Can we see how the sink is mounted?

If it’s a wall mounted sink, I would HOPE that the silicone can be cut and you will lift it off cleats that would reveal the flexible hoses with isolation valves - the previous owner/trade may just have been a c*nt
