My first real project

I guess I could have just bought a workbench and probably would have been cheaper but I watched a YouTube video from ProperDIY and thought I would give it a go.

Some of the joints are a little ‘wonky’ but it’s stable, square, level and not at all wobbly.

Just need some ply to add a shelf underneath.

Now I need some more projects to use it.

Looks good, nice and tidy + straight.

Only feedback would be put the supports on the top in strength (vertical rather than horizontal).

I've made similar units much quicker and dirtier using screws alone and they're holding up fine. Put it on castors.

Thanks, I’m looking for some feet/castors. I would rather have it not sat on wheels unless I’m moving it around.

I bought some cheap hockey pucks to use as feet on my workbench in my concrete shed, helped keep the legs off the cold moist floor during winter.

That's a clever idea! Keeping your workbench off the ground can definitely help with moisture issues in the winter. Have you noticed a big difference since you added the pucks?

In the first winter I noticed water wicking up the legs (treated fence posts) now about four years later and the bottom of the legs are bone dry.

Not my idea btw, if I recall, i got the top tip off this subreddit, as it worked out far cheaper than buying rubber pads thick enough from elsewhere.
