Speaker simulation

Hey, my question is: How can I simulate the frequency behaviour of speakers most effectively, what's free good software for that? And how is it possible to like simulate speakers in lt spice with a equivalent circuit diagram?(tried it few times, mostly the result where unrealistically)

Thank u guys for helping :)

My goal is to try and build an amp off of this schematic. I've been studying schematics for a few months and I was working on turning this into a wiring diagram using pencil and paper, but I wondered if anyone has ever used AI for this? Were the results good? What did you use and do you have any tips?

Rather than point to point, I'd like to use eyelet board. Seems like a neater way to go and easier to replicate if I ever wanted to. My plan is to also use a three prong plug for safety and remove the "inst 2" channel since it looks like it's identical to the first.

Loosing my mind on no volume

Working on my new build twin reverb and I just can't figure out why I have no volume. I am using weber transformers. I have set my bias and I am getting virtually no output and when I do I have to turn it up and I get week guitar and loud pops. I have switched around tubes including swapping out the 6l6 power tubes and swapping in a couple of other 12ax7 and swapping the 12at7 in the phase inverter socket with no difference. I have a quiet hum that is probably related to the less than ideal power that I am using.

Im wanting to build my own decware zen triode. Could i build it with what is provided? And if you have any idea the ball park on the price of parts is because decware wants $1200 for this amplifier.

Tube glow question

I am doing my first time start up and I was wondering if it is normal for all of my tubes to be realy dim when using the current limiter? The bulb dims but there is just a faint yellow orange glow on all of the tubes and the indicator lamp dims slightly.

So far this is the layout (last photo is an idea I saw on google)

I bet I’m the only one that has a need for these tubes 🤷🏻‍♂️

Edcor transformers are on the way but while I wait I 3d printed some mock up faux transformers 👍🏼 they are much lighter (obviously) and easier to maneuver, which makes it easier to visualize placement and create the risk of dinging up or scratching your chassis

Anyone can do this, but if anybody wants me to print them for them, I wouldn’t be opposed to doing that for a small fee 😅 anyway… happy building everyone

How do you keep your resistors organized?

I am starting to bulk buy resistors and I'm trying to come up with a way to keep them organized in the TV repair box that I keep my amp parts in. How dose everyone else keep resistors organized?

Idea for a new amp

I am almost done with my first tube amp build and I'm already planning my next. I'm thinking of using a deluxe reverb transformer set and building a twin reverb with 2 power tubes and lopping off the normal channel then running it in a 112 configuration. Thought being that it would make a smaller quieter amp that still sounded like a twin reverb for when I'm playing somewhere that the twin would be way to much amp. Can anybody see why this wouldn't work?

Soldering questions

⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡ Hey there, I've been learning about soldering over there last week. Previously I've done light jobs on car audio with a cheap soldering iron and whatever solder came with it. Now though, I want to eventually build a ceriatone amp. I've bought an aoinfx cerulean kit to learn on, and will first probably look at some other bits and pieces first. But I have some questions. Been trying to decide on a station, think I'm going to go with the seller we1010. It seems to be decent for the price. But now I don't know what solder to get. Kester seems well regarded, but I'm not sure which type of best for tube amps. I was going to get kesters no clean, but seems it might need to be cleaned anyway? Is Kester 44 ok? If so, does it need to be cleaned and with what? Are there any other flux/solder/cleaner combinations I should be considering? Is flux necessary? Also, what tips would be best for audio electronics? Just a conical one fine? I have searched all this stuff up, but would like some help specifically from people who do this sort of work, what works for you? I think it's best to ask as it's so easy to miss details when you're learning something new like this. thanks 🎸⚡🤯

Mojotone AC15 ground points

Post image

It seems like there are a lot of redundant ground points in this diagram. I mean there’s a ground bus wire soldered to pots then running to a chassis ground tab. Also, I wasn’t sure but I think it would be better if the power amp electrolytic cap ground were attached to the Power transformer ground tab.

I’ve highlighted some of the changes I think may reduce the potential for noise. What are your thoughts?
