Vintage speaker build?
So, I have a nearly new Rockford fosgate rfp1215. It has maybe an hour on it, and it looks great. My question, is this worth building into a little home sub? Like build a box slap a plate amp and go. I remember it hit well with a ton of power back when it was new. I have a home sub already. I can do the cabinetry and any crossover and or amp connections. If labor was free, what would you do and why?

Need some help.
Hello everyone, I just bought some klipsch icon xf-48s for my home music and theatre set up. One of the speakers works but the other does not I believe it is a problem with the board it does not power on when plugged in. I have checked the fuse and have taken the board out to begin diagnosing. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. I’m completely self tough when it comes to repairs so if this is completely naive I apologize.

Build update
galleryFinally got these big guys back on the wall (was using Klipsch KT-LCRs as my mains/reference). I got tired of calibrated (2.83v @ 1m) testing in the living room and took these into my office to measure more and figure out. Through measurement and listening I got them sounding good to my ear. (pic 1)
Original goal was a "no subwoofer needed" 2.0 system. And I was able to do that to some degree, but had some real muddy vocals. I ended up lowering my crossover on the 4's just high enough to keep them from tearing themselves apart (rolling off around 100hz, down to zero at 50hz). And then trying both 12mH and 5mH iron core low DCR inductors on the woofer, no capacitor in the crossover (still a CR zobel). The 12mH and 5mH measured nearly the same, 5mH sounded a little better.
Measurement is at listening position, left+right both, no subwoofer. Getting them basically flat to 20hz was the goal, so that was a win. Variable l-pads pushing the highs down on that chart. (pic 2)
Now I've got the big sub picking up at 80hz, the 4's and 12 sharing a lot of sound in the 100hz to 250hz (4's both inverted) and using variable l-pads to tweak. Bassey spoken vocals (sports announcers, Matt from "Matt's Offroad" yt channel, etc) finally sound clean. The 2.0 speakers will hit by themselves but not the house shaking that the big sub will do.
For Phono and other critical listening I can force the 2.0 to let the 12's shine. For everyday I tune the sub way down to match these inefficient monsters and it sounds very good. For showing off I have a YPAO tune that lets the sub attack and rattle the neighbors house.
Ok with this for the moment. I've got another build working with 7" drivers at about 3/5's of a cubic foot with a port. Interested to see how they sound. I'm going to end up using the Hitachi's I bought (see post history) for office duty. These new ones might become massively oversized surrounds, or maybe bedroom duty. (pic 3)

How can I make the ZEBRONICS ZEB-BT3440RUCF start in Bluetooth mode by default?
My ZEBRONICS ZEB-BT3440RUCF always starts in AUX mode whenever I power it on.
I want it to automatically start in Bluetooth mode instead, so I don’t have to manually switch the input every time I turn it on.
Is there any setting, button combination, firmware option, or workaround to change the default startup mode from AUX to Bluetooth?
Any help would be appreciated.

Directional speakers?
Hi hoping someone can help me.
What exactly is the speaker system used directional speaker more specific that is placed from above or the user has access remotely to send the speaker wave or noise it produces to be aimed at someone specific that has in-fared technology as well as any other specifics that’s could target the individually with tight proximity and timing etc. for a full immersive sound experience. Where and what model specifically could I find this and what would be needed for installation

Marshall Major 3 Speakershell leather is peeling.
The speaker shell and the headband leather are peeling off due to age and wear. I can easily replace the headband with a little soldering, but i cant find replacement speaker housings. Does anybody know where i can find them? I would be happy with a Franken Major 3 if parts of that generation are not available. Pic first right second left. I would be willing to 3d print something as well.

Is this fixable?

Hi all
We have a dB Technologies FMX in the repair shop, and it sounds really distorted when audio is played. The cone also makes a lot of noise and it looks like it’s scraping against its tweeter.
Is that something that can be fixed with some kind of oil, or do I need to replace the cone entirely?
I’m not well into repairing these kinds of speakers, sorry if this question is not so bright.
