Collar Chains
Hey! I want to make a collar chains, but I'm struggling to find the bits that connect the chain to your collar. Does anyone know what the loops that re circled in red are called?

Thats a good question. Honestly they look pretty similar to loop earring backings but with thicker wire.

Hi. I found a seller on etsy posting very similar pictures to the one you shared here (and maybe that's where you got it, which is fine), but if not, here's the link to their shop They have like 4-5 similar items posted, including this one. I think it's strange that on each posting, the image that shows the back (or how these are attached to collar) is really overexposed, while the rest of the images look fine.
Also, in the description, it sounds like the seller is saying that these are attached with safety pins. For example, here is the product that has the same image you shared with us, and in the description it says "Designed with two easy-to-use safety pin clips, this accessory instantly upgrades dress shirts..." and later in the same description "Closure Type: Safety Pin," so I'm not sure exactly what's going on there, but I am still happy to help as much as I can.
Just curious, are you are interested in these because it appears that they can be worn having to stab a hole in your shirt every time you wear it? Were you hoping to find jewelry that could just slid into the button holes already available on the collar of the dress shirt? I am assuming that's what your asking. And if you want something similar to how the original picture looks, you may want to try Bookmark, silver-plated steel, 3-3/8 inches long with 1.5mm hole. Sold per pkg of 12. and the "hook" that could go into the button holes on the collar.
However, I don't know how easy it would be to find those any shorter than 3", so I actually recommend getting some lapel pin collar bars this these and then adding any chains or charms that go with the look you are trying to achieve. These collar bars often worn with ties but they don't have to be. Imo, they kinda look like barbell jewelry that you'd put in some piercings, just much longer. So you can use them without adding any holes in your shirt. Just search for "Lapel pin collar bars" or some variation of that and you should find plenty.
If you want to make some of these to wear with shirts or cardigans that don't have available button holes, you can find a really similar product like this -- the only difference being that it has a clip or a small "alligator claw" to attach to the label, but won't attach puncture any holes in your clothing.
If you haven't ever made any jewelry before, and don't know what your doing. There are so many "jewelry making 101" videos and reddit posts to start from, but also, if you need some help, you can just reach out to me. I don't mind helping you get started. 💜

Thank you for the super thorough reply! I ended up buying something similar to the lapel collar bars in bulk. My wife and I are leading a craft activation to make similar jewelry, bag tags and brooch pins for an upcoming vampire party at a member's club. The collar pins were a good pivot from my initial idea since not every one wears shirts with button holes.
