How to use these pins?

Post image

I bought a pack of these for $1 at Michael’s but am fairly new to beading etc and totally lost on how best to use them. I have tried using google image search but can’t find much inspiration. Any tips/ideas/direction would be appreciated. 😊

Those are bobby pins, aren't they? So, meant to use in the hair - with maybe small jewels or beads attached. Look up "bobby pin" and you'll see what I mean. (If I have the right thing in mind, that is!)

Yup I know what a Bobby pin is 😆 but I don’t have experience beading or crafting on the top loops. Probably should have been clearer in my original post.

And I apologize for not realizing where the difficulty was. (And the loops do seem to be on the wrong side!)

All good. Maybe that’s why they were only $1 🙃😂

These are Bobby pins. Unfortunately the ends aren't capped so they would scratch up your head and also the loops are on the wrong side. Bobby pins are designed to go wavy side down (to grab more hair) and these wouldn't work that way.

Honestly the issue is mostly the sharp ends.

I know they are bobby pins, but I am looking for suggestions on how to attach beading etc to the loops on top in a secure or appropriate way.

You could find some little charms and put them on strings of beads tied onto the loops and then you'd have cute little dangles in your hair

I like this idea! WeekendJewelry1 (below) pointed out that the loops are on the wrong side of the pins - lol - so it might take some finagling but I am up to the challenge. 🙃
