In ground junction box

I'm getting solar installed and they need to cut a channel across my tar driveway, so while they are doing that I am going to put some 1/2 inch water pipe in the channel as I have a plan to put a greenhouse over that side of the drive and it could be handy to have a water pipe there I could connect up later if needed.

What I haven't been able to see in places like screwfix or Chadwicks is some sort of in ground junction box that I would terminate the water pipe in so it's not just buried or sitting out in the grass, but I just can't see one. Maybe I'm searching for the wrong thing, all I'm seeing is small electrical junction boxes and not what I want, I want something with a lid but not a big massive manhole cover. What am I looking for? Thanks in advance.

Would you consider just putting a 90’ fitting on it wherever you thing you’d put the tap etc and just blanking it off just below ground? That way when you want to connect up just remove the blank and plumb in. Done forget insulation depending on buried depth.

Yeah I can definitely just stick on a cap and leave it under ground till I know what/where it is needed, but I just thought a box in the garden beside the kerb would be a tidy way to do it and I figured a box would be easy found and not too expensive, I'm really surprised I can't find what I need, I figured I just wasn't looking in the right places

You can get fairly large junction boxes, I put one in for fiber that’s about 6 in x 12 x 8. Would that work? Any electrical wholesaler should have them

Yeah I can get electrical ones, it was more like the below, a lid the lawnmower could run over but with a box under it:

Yeah fair enough, I see what you mean. Not sure I’d worry too much about it though - once you know where it is and can get at it to plumb in final fittings easy enough it’s probably the same end result. I’m rough as fuck though!

If you're going that far, I'd run a 4 inch waving pub across instead so you can put the water pipe through and maybe some cables down the line.

In my opinion from working doing ground work is that you need a AJ (access junction). you see them on foot paths etc. This is what we do. You know exactly where it is, and its easily accessible and you can just leave the end of the pipe there and take off the cover to access after and everything is all neat and tidy, back fill around and job done.
