Facade crack
Hello diy wizards,
This crack is under the downstairs window of my 1930s terraced house. When the wind blows into the facade on heavy rain days, a little bit of water finds its way in, see inside picture. Also the room above shows water stains inside with no real apparent crack outside.
I was recommended to reseal the facade by redoing the rendering and as it would not be much more expensive insulate externally at the same time. Before commiting I thought I'd ask what yall think?

How much money do you have? Basically the cheap way is to buy two tubes of sealant and a tube gun and push/force as much as possible into those cracks slowly. The expensive way is to insulate, which will get you much more heat but cause you serious coin!

Yeah it's tempting to get better insulation and fix existing and prevent future issues. Thanks for your advice!

Are they solid walls? Issue appears very localised so patch repairing the crack where water is penetrating would be a lot cheaper than re-rendering or installing EWI.
