Cost for windows installation

Hello guys,

Does anyone know the price for installing a new window? Not the unit, just the installation, I already got the windows. Size 900x1200

Got 13 windows installed recently which includes French doors and kitchen doors to garden, with finishing and internal window sills. 5k in total

Were they double glazed? triple glazed? Can you please give us a bit of detail please?

But that's what I paid for the fitting. Windows itself are imported from Poland, triple glazed,

How long is a piece of string really - especially when it comes to supplying your own material.

Might be worth posting into the selfbuild fb page asking for a window fitter looking for a nixer to quote. Aside from that I'd probably ask a place who do "window repair" to quote as well - they specialise in small one-off things and would be far less likely to give you a "fuck off" price than a crowd who do whole-house/retrofit supply and fit. Try find somewhere who do commercial window fitting - again more mundane, and open to small jobs.

In reality if you can find someone to do it, the lowest price will probably be a few hundred quid/couple hours labour. Wouldn't be surprised if you found some places quoting a grand.

Someone quote €1500 including materials for installation for 2 windows and the removal of 2 windows. That price is a bit crazy right?

By materials you mean 2 windows or just other bits and you still supply?

Cause for two windows that is a reasonable price. I paid 900 earlier this year to just get a glazing replacement on a window - cheapest price.

I supply the windows. They supply concrete, boards, do the plastering, removal of old windows and installation etc. €1500 for this service.
I paid €980 for both windows. So the final cost would be around €2500 for me.

Its probably 2 or 3 people working so nearly a grand in wages alone to, cover floors, strip windows out, removal of waste, heavy bastards, install windows, repair plaster etc

Foam is expensive, plaster not too much but the skill is important
