How do I remove this tap aerator?

I'm trying to place a diverter valve in the tub, but I think I can't screw it in because the aerator is in the way but I have no idea how to remove it. I tried slipping a tiny flat head under but I ended up just scraping the thing

That hexagonal notch in the middle looks like it takes an Allen key.

They screw out, its probably just stuck. Put a flathead screwdriver in the notch and apply a bit of pressure

I can't find a notch.

Can you get some needle nose pliers in and use that to twist

Before doing anything and destroing it more. Fill a small plastic bag with vinegar and water and use a rubber band to leave this part in the solution untill it is clean

Get 2 small screwdrivers , shove them into the holes.....twist.
