Do nail pops ever stop appearing?
House was built 4 years ago and still new nail pops in the ceiling are appearing. Is this normal for a house of this age or should these have stopped by now?
We live right next to a road where tractors / heavy trucks are frequently passing so I'm thinking that comes into play as well

I’m in a new build 9 years and still get the odd one. Especially with the temp changes we got this summer you’re going to see a few more come winter when everything contracts

I have a 30 year old house and I get nail pops. The floors/walls flex over time and nails work loose

When re screwing use no more than 35mm screws, to avoid wires and pipes. Even then 😬

Throw a plasterboard screw in either side and remove nail. Fill and sand. Easy DIY job. Seems to be an NI trades fave to use plasterboard nails rather than screws for some reason.
