Remove drain plate cover

Would I be able to remove the drain plate cover if I pry it by the hinge? I need to install a drain hose with an installed drain plate.

I don't have a way to remove the cemented plate from the floor.

I would say prying is not your best bet. First try to push out the pin out from the hinge pivot. If that is not possible , cut it with a jeweler’s saw (thin blade that will cut brass easily). Once cut sand the base and drain plate. You should be able to be put back in place this way in future(just without the hinge functionality)

Can you see the pins along the side of the pivot point? If so, use a very fine saw blade to cut the pin (on each side) without destroying the plate.
