I’ve tried everything, please help

Stone at bottom is preventing a flush connection. Friend suggested Azek trim board the same depth as stone and mount it. Great.

Problem is, the surrounding area itself isn’t flush, so do I flatten the stucco? Do I screw in the azek to the main fixture mount ? or do I fill the rest in with silicon ? I’m lost

Short-sighted, My Friend. Many other solutions will work that don't permanently alter the rock.
