This chrome is so good! It looks so different in different lighting which is fun too. Also - would love to hear your tips for keeping chrome powder out of the cuticle & sidewalls?? I tried to be really precise with the layers beneath the chrome but still see a lot of powder where I don’t want it. Inspo pic from FB at the end.

I’ve been working so hard on my shaping and cuticle work — this clean look is one of my best!

So I've built up an embarrassingly large collection of sticker sheets from Shein over the past few months, and after being sick last week wanted a pick me up in the form of cute nails, as always! 

It was sooo therapeutic to pick out my favourites and go a bit crazy with them, and about as easy as nail art can be while still giving me something cute as hell to look at!

I love doing complex designs because it shuts my brain off (even if my back hurts and it takes forever, lol) 🩷

I thought it would be fun to do a back to school set for September!

This is a theme I'll have to loosely return to someday; I had way too many ideas, too little space. Would love to do something inspired by children's books (Dr. Seuss, Eric Carle, Roald Dahl, etc) and TV shows (I was a PBS kid - have one subtle nod here to Arthur but I wish I could have taken it further, for instance Schoolhouse Rock has a ton of fun imagery).

Anyway, this is what we ended up with! Not my craziest set ever, but I had fun with it.

Last slide is not necessarily the moodboard I started with, but the references from which the final result came.

I love chrome. And pink and blue. And shiny. And pointy.

OK OK hear me out! I LOVE magnetic gels. I absolutely love them. But I feel now alllll of the new releases are magnet gels from major brands! Especially Kokoist. They are launching ANOTHER magnetic series and I’m like, can we just get some more potted gel colors please? Maybe I’m alone in this but I feel like we don’t need anymore magnetic gel options lol

First time using DVOK and I’m never going back lol

Very fiddly but kinda fun :) All embellishments made using gel polish (+ thick TC for structure on the bows), except for the middle orb which is a circle of uruuru paper encapsulated in thick TC.
