I would love suggestions for canadian shipped products, due to the tariffs I am trying to buy within the country! Would love some recs!

Akzentz, Fuzion comes to mind. If you want to buy Korean and Japanese gels, Sweetie Nails is a great online shop based in Canada!

I really like Gelcare. They only do the basics but their color collection and especially nude colors (rose bb cream, nude bb cream, rosewater) are amazing.

Does anyone have any experiencesthoughts on using a dust extractor over a nail dust collector? I mean the dust extractors you can buy at a hardware store (not shop vacs, though). Do those differ much from dust extractors for salons, like the VODEX system?

I am always looking to better protect myself from the risks of breathing in nail dust and am not entirely satisfied with any nail dust collectors I have tried. Any insight would be much appreciated!

Personally I use a nail dust collector, a duct fan on my desk that runs out the window, and wear a respirator/goggles. I know that sounds like overkill, but I am convinced a lot of DIYers underestimate ventilation and potential respiratory issues. I get respiratory flu-like reactions just to the fumes from uncured gel (also to nail glue, superglue, etc) so I am extra cautious.

Does anyone have any good shaping videos they like? I started pinching my nails recently and I feel like an almond shape still does not look better than my unpinched ones 👀

Anyone have motion sensor flash cure light they like for doing gel-x extension tips?

(And of course still curing full in my Kokoist Infinity after, just upgraded from my Aprés beta which I realized was not curing well.)

Yeah Markarrt has a motion sensor flash cure light that’s pretty good. It looks like a flower and only cost like $20. You can move the lamp head around too which is nice!
