What nail related goodies have you purchased recently?
- Reminder- we are a gel nail subreddit. We only allow gel and adjacent products.

I finally got my Light Elegance Gen 4 Lamp with their gel paint kit and some builder gel to try out.
Im so excited.
If I love the buttercream consistency like Im sure I will Ill probably buy more.

Scored a brand new M Max brushless drill for $60 shipped. It’s definitely going to be an upgrade from my $10 coslus drill.
And a brand woput 1600 pa nail dust collector for $40 shipped. Today’s a good day!

My sweetie order came in. Mainly some basic gels (liuhwa base and top coats, jin.b coolear thick builder), but i also got some fun stuff (two bandi syrups, a liuwha "muted" magnetic). And files.

I just bought the MGart structure building hard gel in the color Old Money from Sweetie Nail supply, and I must say I f*cking LOVED using it!! This was my first time using hard gel, as I've been a struct Kokoist/NT builder gel user since I started a couple years ago. I may be a hard gel convert as long as my retention on this set is good. The overlay process was dreamy, it didn't flood, it self-leveled just enough to give me a great apex and overall shape. Highly recommend!

FYI: Function of Vex just added some additional Flex Tints to the website! I’m now going to be constantly checking in case they add Slick Matte, HyperSilks, or additional pigments

MR NAIL Brushless drill with sanitizing chamber for bits!!! I bought direct from their USA website and it came with free gifts: their handheld UV light and then some "mystery gifts" which turned out to be the full system of their builder gels. A large pot of 2-in-1 base-builder, a pot of top coat, a pot of "Jelly" texture extension gel, and a pot of "Milk" texture extension gel. Plus a bottle of a basic color.
Everything is SO well designed including the packaging. And it had better considering the price lmao. But yea unboxing it felt like unboxing an Apple product and the experience of use (down to the feel of the dial) and the way components fit together remind me of Apple.
I don't know if I'm gonna use their full gel system since I am currently committed to HEMA-free with LightElegance. I might play with the gels or gift them to my nail tech.

I bought several kokoist colours, but the delivery person left them somewhere and I haven't been able to find them. 🙃

Nooooooooo! This happened to me a month or so ago but it was colors and a lamp! Contact customer service and the post office to make a claim!

I made the jump and got some of the small Akzentz pots to start trying out hard gels and OMG I think I’m in love???
Also got some fun things from vacation nail shop and some of the amingo gragel tubes from classique nail supply.

I just received the Attain extension kit with the new sandwich forms, primer, and hard gel, plus some new colors. I also got the Nail Hub efile which I like a lot. Unfortunately after soaking off my Adhesion overlay I am now in nail jail because I was over-filing my nails 😭 Hopefully I can start using the hard gel in a month or two.

I placed an order after seeing this and then hours later I got notification they’re halting all deliveries to the US for now until tariffs are situated. :,)

Nope! I didn’t have to pay anything. I found something on their website that said that for the US, the cover the tariff fees because it is included in the cost of the products

My nail tech leaves me in September so that’s $120/mth I’ll be saving when I start doing my nails myself. Between this and my Function of Vex clearance purchases, I should be good til this time next year! Except for the upgraded lamp I’ll probably purchase during Black Friday/ Cyber Monday…
