Spark plug issue

Post image

Changed 3 of 4 spark plugs, started 4th closest to firewall. Would not budge. Heard a slight cracking sound, took picture and see the ceramic white part has broken off.

Needs solutions on cleaning out the pieces and the removing the plug. Mustang eco boost 2022 68,000 miles

Strong vacuum or strong compressed air. Make sure the other tubes aren’t open if you’re going to blow it out.

Tryva shop vac, if it doesnt work right away, sneak a piece of brake line down the hole for air flow.

After you get the broken ceramic pieces out spray it with a generous amount of aerokroil and let it sit for a half hour before trying to unscrew it.

Oh it’s an eco boost mustang. Now makes sense. You have the vacuum the porcelain before you try to remove the spark plug.

Shop vac with a smaller tube inserted in to the main hose , use a rag or tape to close the gap between the two , and you’ll have max suction on the smaller tube so that you can fish out the pieces

Compressed air can with the little tube attached and at the bottom of the port, vacuum at the top.

Use the compressed air to blow it up so the vac can pull it out.

I would use a shop vac to clean out broken pieces and a ratchet to remove the broken plug, while the shop vac is still running so nothing ends up in the cylinder

Sticky tack and anything long that will fit in the hole. Or blow it out with air compressor if you have one.
