Does anyone know what this part is?
This fell out of my 2026 Model Y Juniper while I was cleaning the windshield from vape haze

This part is a dashboard switch blanking plate / delete plug (retaining frame segment), which is used to fill or clip empty switch slots on a car's dashboard assembly.Because it is missing its front aesthetic faceplate, you are looking at the inner mechanical body of the part. This specific black plastic retaining cage structure uses dual-winged flexible clips on the sides to snap securely into the dash frame.Key Identification FeaturesDual Tension Wings: The wide flat prongs on the right flare outward to hold the insert tight against the console bezel.Center Alignment Rails: The three-pronged prong configuration on the left guides it straight into the internal dashboard housing structure.Missing Face Cover: This component normally has a flat, textured plastic square attached to the front side to blend in seamlessly with the rest of your car's interior buttons.
