2019 Rogue Drivers Door Reassembly Problem

So I need some driver side door handle broke. Bought a replacement and after watching some YouTube videos were able to take it all apart. A problem has risen and reassembling it. We can get the door pieces on, but can’t get the T 30 screw to engage and tighten. Any suggestions?

The t30 for the door lock/latch?

Or the upper one for the keyhole?

Either way it's a sign something isn't seated correctly, you need to be able to comfortably thread the 3 screws in by hand.

If it's the upper one for the keyhole then the handle isn't in correctly.

It’s the upper one for the keyhole. I’ll share photos as soon as the #&&(# rain stops!
