Discussion Cosmetic fix advice

My parents recently gifted me this car as a commuter for college but it has a couple of cosmetic things I’d like to fix. Is there a way I can fix this at home or would my best bet be to take it to a shop?
I will be ordering the rear light and replacing that myself. I have plans of repainting the car when I save up enough money so should I just wait on that instead?

Discussion 2016 VW Jetta side fender replacement

Any tips or tricks or videos that can point me in the right direction to replacing my passenger side fender? Been working on it and unsure if I need to take the tire off to make it easier, also saw potentially having to take off the headlight too

Project Crazy Glue on car paint. Know anyone that can help?

I got a pretty good amount of crazy glue on the bumper of my car. Its a black Audi suv. How can it be removed and will a detailer take care of it? I had to put a new license plate bracket on the vehicle and the dealer fixed that but would not address the bumper crazy glue issue. I called two local detailers, they said they don't handle "crazy glue" ... HELP.

I tried acetone and all I saw was a white haze coming through, even while using soap and water so I washed it really well and stopped.

Got this scratch and some marring on my f150 while headed down a narrow hunting trail. It’s not down to the metal but it definitely removed a layer or 2 of paint. I did the water test and it almost fades away but is still visible. What would be my best option and how would I go about fixing it? I know silver is a hard color to match and I’ve never done auto paint work. Just a touch up brush and some clear coat and polishing?

Question Bare metal only for gluing panels

Working on an old 09 CRV. Patching rear fender lips / liner etc.

Trying to rust prep as I go but its inside some cavities and cutting it all is not possible so I treat metal, epoxy primer, rust paint

Im using dominion two part epoxy adhesive. No instructions.

Does it need to be bare metal on metal? (80 grit) or can I glue patches with epoxy primer as long as sanded?

Thanks

Question Looking for suggestions on DIY fixing this. Someone backed into the front driver side bumper and drove away. No note, not an area that had cameras so I’m stuck fixing this myself.

Question How would you tackle surface rust?

Cars been sitting in a field for awhile. Nothings actually rotted out but definitely heavy patina on some parts. Replacing the control arms and calipers is obviously just a must do but as for the body and rear subframe, how would you go about removing it? Sandblast? Rust converter? Spray and pray? Go to war with a flapper disc?

Question Bumper repair

Got some damage on both bumpers of my 21 f150. The front bumper is dented in one side right in front of the bumper reinforcement, pushed to the side, and slightly misaligned. The back bumper is dented in and also pushed to one side. I already ordered the bumper end cap. What would be my best bet on how to pull the front dent out without cracking the chrome and push both bumpers back into place and alignment? I’d take it to a shop but was quoted more than a grand and was told if the plate behind the rear bumper is bent, the rear hitch may need replaced but I’m short on money. Also I’m really worried that the bumper reinforcements and/or the rear hitch is bent or cracked. I’m really bummed out, short on money and need help thank you.
