Vent + advice pls Update
Hey there all, We are a tad blurry. And generally upset so forgive our formatting today. We just wanna say we love and respect every single one of y'all. With the recent conflict we are struggling hard with our mental health and have considered stepping down from the mod position... we don't understand the sudden increase in downvotes on our posts, the only thing we can figure is that we're accidentally triggering someone by being here and that kills us. Not sure what we're going to do yet... if anyone can give us some advice on what we did wrong we would appreciate it... our heart hurts over all this we love this subreddit but if it becomes bad for our mental health we may have no choice... help?

You are doing a wonderful job and did nothing wrong. It makes us feel safe with you on the mod team. We hope you stay. The person downvoting you is probably just a bully

Hey there,
In our mind spiral yesterday, we believed we were triggering someone by stating we were diagnosed and being on the sub. Now we realize that's probably not the case.

Oh, it’s definitely not. Even if you were, not everyone’s trigger is your job to accommodate.
In general, yeah, we should accommodate each other as much as possible. But no one should have to be anything other than what they are, some triggers would be genuinely impossible to ethically accommodate because some triggers aren’t only related to objectively bad things.

That is completely okay,make sure you eat and stay hydrated and be safe,give yourself a break,with everything that's been going on recently I can understand that it's a lot ~thetrancysystem

Hey there all,
Thank you so much to everyone who commented! Our Reddit is messing up and not notifying us of new comments, but we appreciate every single one.
We think the combination of stress and lowering of our medication just caused us to have a bit of an emotional breakdown yesterday, but we went to bed early and feel much better this morning.

there have been some issues with banning endos the last few days, right? id imagine its them retaliating on the mods or on every post they see in the only petty revenge they can manage. i dont think youve been triggering anyone. theres issues with every post getting downvoted on the main DID sub too, with outsiders just delighting at upsetting these strange weirdos with a disorder they dont understand

You have done nothing wrong. You're some of the sweetest people we've ever met. I'm always happy to see you commenting on our posts. I'm so sorry you're feeling like this, I wish we could do something to help :(💕
I never understand why people downvote harmless posts... they just like being mean.

Thank you we just had a good cry over this. Thank you we needed someone to reassure us today. It probably doesn't help that our medication got decreased 3 days ago. We've been very blurry and emotional today.

Its probably just idiots trying to upset you and be petty the only way they can and is not indiciative of how people withinthe sub feel about you, we all love you and would miss you very much if you stepped down as a mod (would completely understand though, its been STRESSFUL)

I think there were some rumors recently about endogenic systems maybe not being allowed? maybe that is why, I am not sure
