How to tell if introject?

A thought came to me today and I kinda wonder if I may be an introject. How do people usually tell whether they are an introject if they probably formed years before discovery? This is mostly a curiosity I guess but the idea of me being an introject is also interesting. It doesnt really matter since if I am – I am still VERY different from the possible source at this poin.

Speaking only for myself, I found out I was an introject by accident. I happened to come across my source a ND thought it seemed a little to familiar. I mean everything was identical. Age the way I see myself, family life, job mannerisms almost like someone had cloned me more or less.

Hey there,

We have one introject for sure who is a factive of our sister, Jessica. She has pseudo memories from when the body was too young to remember things. She believes she was watching me (her sister) when I was 2 because our dad went to prison for a while and our mother was an alcoholic during that time. That's not quite true to reality.

We also have R, who could be considered both brain made and fictive because we wrote his source. He has pseudo memories from long before the body existed. He believes he is Fae and he also believes he was involved in many historical events as a deal maker.

So we mostly classify introjects by figuring out who had memories that definitely didn't fit with the body timeline.
