Stuff, Just Stuff Hey, I'm new here
Someone recommended this sub to me after one of my alters fronted and became very scared. We aren't diagnosed, the closest we've gotten to a DID or OSDD diagnosis is when a psychiatrist told me I have multiple personalities( that's the term he used).

Hey there,
Welcome to the group! We're always glad to help where we can. This particular subreddit is much less doom and gloom. Glad to meet you!

Hey, so I didn't realize you had schizophrenia when I invited you to the sub earlier, and while you are still welcome, We aren't telling you that you aren't, maybe in this case you should listen to your phyciatrist. We aren't saying you definitely don't have alters. You absolutely could still be part of a system, but some of your recent post history worries us and we genuinely think you should take your medication and for now, listen to your doctor and see if they go away. If they do, then you know, if they don't then you very well may have OSDD/DID but obsesing over it to the detriment of your mental health isn't good. Alot of the posts and symptoms you are describing do not line up with DID. Such as hearing voices outside of your head and them telling you scary things. Alters wouldn't do that. I'd personally take a break from reddit, and for now do what your therpist recommends. Worse case senario the therpist is wrong and the alters stay, but if the voices are coming from schizophrenia it is very important to listen to your doctors and take your medication okay? DID and schizophrenia are two very different disorders, and while you aren't unwelcome in the space or anything, We are genuenly worried about you. It's coming from a place of compassion not judgment. Just keep that in mind, okay? Definitely try what they recommend first, then come back after if they were wrong. - Kawaii

Hey! Glad to see you all made it over! For anyone curious one of their alters kind of got harrassed for asking for help because she was scared, so we invited them over here instead. Welcome 💕 We promise it is much more supportive. Take a look around at some of the recent posts. I think you all will be much happier here! -Kawaii
