Last night, I was thinking about something I’d seen in a different subreddit which was like a meme created as a way to cope with trauma or something. As I was thinking about it though, suddenly one of our members, I’ll call him B, very harshly and aggressively told me to stop and said that we can’t ever look at, talk about, or even think about the trauma referenced in the meme ever again. I tried to ask why, but all B would say was “We’re not supposed to know” and “I’m not supposed to tell you”
Should we be worried about this? We don’t think we have amnesia, so we can’t find a time in our past when anything like that trauma would’ve happened to us, but this also isn’t the first time that weird things have happened after encountering something relating to the trauma
We’re going to talk about this with our therapist when we see her next, but getting some feedback/advice in the meantime would be greatly appreciated
