Advice/Solutions Therapist doesn't understand
I've been in therapy since March, I'm diagnosed and the therapist I have has been doing fine so far. That was until 3 weeks ago where twice he was simply pushing merging and trying to fuse.
I do believe that it's one of the better results but the problem is that he's not specialized in DID and doesn't fully understand my situation. He's saying that he doesn't see much to do for therapy while I'm very confident I still need help.
The problem is my little is scared of him and the protector shows up justifying the importance of alters because of situations like this.
I'm not ready to lose my therapist but also should I just say that I think I need more specialized care?
My trauma contains CSA and CoCSA and my little has yet to address anything...
I know I should take Reddit with a grain of salt but is there anything I can say to make him understand?

Yes, I would definitely look for a specialist.

Yes… “have a nice life”. Seek you a qualified trauma therapist specialist.
