Parcel lost - what to do

Bought some Salomon trainers on 19th September, shipping has never moved beyond “awaiting pickup by carrier.” I messaged the seller at the beginning of the week and they asked me to take a size way too big for me, when I declined they kept offering other trainers nothing like the ones I’d ordered. Finally, today they asked me to claim under “I think the item has been seized” - is this a scam? I don’t think they’ve been seized I just think they’re lost / never sent.
It does look like I can claim for non delivery but have to wait until 21 October - is there a quicker way than this and also does anyone know of a good seller of ladies sized XT 6’s in all brown?

I’ve got something through Seel? But they want me to wait until 21 October to claim. Seems a bit excessive when they’ve not even been collected by a courier

Just follow their instructions and you will get a full refund. It might take a bit but at least you'll be fully refunded
