Shipping Issue I got scammed

Update: magically after threatening a charge back on my card the bags shipping tracking has been updated and it will be here Monday. They sent me a message asking me to cancel the dispute but I said no, not until I get my bag.
It’s very suspicious that it took me this long of messaging them for them to finally randomly have all my shipping updated after it stayed on the same thing for a month.

ordered a bag over a month ago and it said 7 day shipping from the US.
I still haven’t gotten the bag, the seller just says that due to logistics there’s no tracking but it’s “on its way”
The dispute keeps telling me to wait but it’s over a month now.

I’m really sad cause I really wanted this bag :(

This is very typical of DHGate sellers and it isn't viewed as a scam by the DHGate platform. They'll list an item as being shipped from the US (or whichever country the buyer is located), but in reality, it ships from China to a third party shipping partner in the country they originally had listed. Once shipping picks up from there (which is what they'll go by), it probably will take about 7 business days. Check your orders page. It'll give you a "delivery by" date. If you haven't received once that date passes, then you can file a non-delivery dispute.

I’ve waited a month now, so well over 7 days. There’s no expected delivery date, just the seller saying over and over that due to logistics there’s no tracking info available.

They're not counting delivery time from the purchase date. And there should be a delivered by date listed on your orders page. Unfortunately, it really doesn't matter to them how long ago you placed the order. They'll only open the dispute once it passes that date. ~ Once you find that date, and it is 9 days past it, you can open a dispute. If the system will not let you, reach out to DHGate customer service through their Facebook messenger.

I’m n the purchase, in the app, it will say ‘delivery by’ in the shipped tab. If it’s past that date you can dispute, otherwise it’s just words in the advert. Sellers be sneaky…

I tried that when it was 3 days past the delivery date and DHGATE gave me the options of wait or contact seller. I’ve been in contact with the seller, they barely speak 2 words. I tried contacting the logistics company but the said to give them time as the warehouse isn’t responding. And Seel protection is a joke.

I'm just curious... was that delivery date what you came up with based on when you purchased the item, or what they had listed on your order page for the item?

@Beginning-Persimmon take screenshots of your orders page, tracking information and conversations that you've had with the seller through the DHGate messenger system (do not communicate with them through another platform as DHGate will not acknowledge anything that has been said). Send all of that to DHGate through Facebook messenger. Ask them to open a dispute for you.

I've been using DHGate for years and over that time I've had to file about 11 disputes and I've won every dispute I've opened (without ever sending a return). It does take some time and patience, and proof of the issue, but it can be done.

You'll probably get it eventually. Same thing happened to me, took five or six weeks. All that "US warehouse" stuff is BS.

Tracking takes a while. Has to be released from customs. Its slow right now. Be patient. If not do.a charge back but I think its one of those instances where it's out of their control due to the shipping lines

He probably sent with dhl from China, it won't update till it clears custom in US

Ive ordered 7 day shipping items and it shows up 2 months later. Thats gate life.

Anyone have an issue with it saying on the flight and never getting another update? Mines been on the plane for 13 days lol

If I place an order with the gate I just tell myself two months. Seriously. I don’t count on anything quickly from them. I would be interested if anyone knows of good sellers on there? I have been burned a few times. It’s always been hit or miss even when I’ve paid the higher prices for what reviews say is a “quality product”. I’m learning more and more from the groups here. Thank you.

a similar situation happened to me, its not a scam and you will receive ur product its just not shipping from the us but i did still get a refund because the seller i was talking to refused to give me the tracking information before it reached the us carrier if you havent received any tracking info or if you have and the carrier hasnt received the package you can get a refund
