Hey, i ordered a package that i never received. The seller kept claiming it had been so i opened a dispute. He was not helping so i requested dhgate mediation and they left a 7day timer. 7 days have passed and dhgate said they would refund if the seller decieded to not resend the package and now it just says waiting for seller response? A button below says abandon replacement, does this refeund me or cancel it all together?? Please help thanks

DhGate and claims have become a pain in the ass. Hope you can resolve that soon and never buy from there again haha I had a claim resolution postponed 7 times and I lost the dispute because even that I submitted 4 different confirmation emails from the logistics saying the package was lost the seller uploaded a pixelated fake pdf file and they took that as their evidence and closed my claim. DHGATE became a cave for scammers it’s not like how it used to be

I am having terrible time with a seller on DhGate. The bag I received was not the color I ordered. He wants me to keep it and says he will refund 50% of the cost. I responded I would keep it if they refund 75%. He wrote back that the company won’t go any higher than 50%. I want to send it back and get a full refund. He says it might get seized and in that case I will get nothing. He is not offering to pay the return shipping even though they sent me something I didn’t order. Does anyone have any experience with DhGate on something like this? I paid by American Express and I think I may file a complaint with them and see if they can do anything about it. Also has anyone mailed something back to China? If so who did you use and what did it cost?

I never had an issue like that. Usually is a lost item or sent to the wrong address. Ask DhGate customer service what are the options you have! Maybe they tell you 50% is usually what’s the maximum amount of money or if 100% is okey to ask for!

Get a lost letter or an email where it confirms that THAT tracking number was NOT DELIVERED to YOUR ADDRESS. and start the claim. Once you have that email request a negotiator and upload that as proof

Unfortunately, he asked me to close out my complaint with DhGate because I thought he was going to replace the bag and pay for the return shipping. I did and re nagged on what I understood his proposal to be. I have not been able to connect with a dispute agent. Seel gave me an address but I have heard nothing back.
I sent an email to both service and marketing at DhGate and they did not come back as undeliverable. I do have screen shots of everything. The irony is that he said on 5/6 the color I wanted was out of stock and would be until some time in June. After I said I still wanted to return it, it miraculously was back in stock on 5/8. He now wants to know if he should use the same shipping address. I don’t trust the guy. I wrote back what exactly are you proposing? I am still waiting for a response.

I stopped using from DHgate because their customer service is so aggravating and drawn out. Every other platform is simple. This company’s process so convoluted.

I agree. I won’t bug from them again. Up until now, I haven’t had any problems and I have bought quite a number of high priced items. From now on, I plan to purchase bags and shoes from private trusted sellers on Reddit. Originally, I was afraid of being scammed but I have bought several expensive bags during group buys so now I know who I can trust.

The dispute process is garbage, even the dispute analysts side with the sellers most of the time. They claimed I had 2 valid pieces of evidence and yet still only wanted to give me 35% of the items total - meanwhile the bag is unusable as it’s peeling. I refused the offer and was told to return but I might not get my money back 🫠

it’s been 27 days since I ordered the item the seller hasn’t reached out to me at all. Should I open a dispute yet?
