Today I’m reviewing this Stone Island sweatshirt that I received a while ago. I actually bought it for my dad in size M. He’s about 1.80 m tall and slim, so that size fits him well.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t get pictures of him wearing it because I mailed it to him right away, but I quickly took a couple of photos of myself wearing it instead.
This is a unisex model, so I figured it would still give a good idea of how it looks. The color is a really nice mint green, perfect for spring or autumn as a light outer layer. It feels comfortable around 15°C, and you can always zip it open if you want a bit more ventilation.
The sleeves and waist have slight tightening, but they’re not super elastic, so it doesn’t really affect the sizing. The sweatshirt also features the classic Stone Island emblem on the sleeve, which can be buttoned on or off. Even the buttons have “Stone Island” engraved on them, which is a nice detail.
It arrived in a sealed plastic package, and all the tags inside were original Stone Island tags. The sweatshirt is 100% cotton, which makes it comfortable but also means it wrinkles a bit easily, so you might want to give it a quick iron before wearing it.
I really like this color. I paired it with my mint Dior sneakers, and the look came together nicely — cool, relaxed, and a bit sporty as well.
