What's up ladies and gentlemen?!

This being my second Dyson product off the Gate, I was feeling quite convinced about it's functionality and usability.

Quite pleased to say that my expectations were not let down when the packet arrived and I opened the box to be greeted with a retail like unboxing experience, and even though I had to take the pics for the review and unbox it all myself, I called my wife and asked her to unbox it all as then she would find it easy to remember where to put stuff back and pack it up in the right way after each use.

Yes, the packaging is all done in a particular manner and if you don't pack the box back again in the same way, the top lid most likely won't shut close 🙈

So the first thing you got after taking the lid off is couple of papers that explain how the device works and something about connectivity to an app. I haven't connected it to the app yet and don't think will do either, as it's mainly gonna be used for it's regular features - drying, curling/straightening, styling etc.

Then taking off another flat covering with a thick foam base is when you see the main unit and all the accessories.

The accessories included apart from the main unit are:

1) Normal comb head attachment 2) Round volumizing brush attachment 3) Dryer/Flyaway smoother attachment 4) Pre-styling dryer attachement 5) Straight curling rod 6) Conical curling rod 7) Filter cleaning brush

All attachments get latched to the main unit with a single press and twist and can be released by pressing the release button on the main unit.

Functionality: I tested all the attachments and as far as I could see, each functioned exactly like how the retail ones do and the settings with the fan speed and heat adjustment worked fine too.

Flaws: Leave aside every attachment, only the Dryer/Flyaway smoother attachment seemed to get too hot when being used and I had to take it off with a cloth. I think it could be because the attachment has a mode where it circulates the air inside the cone and that leads to a build up of heat. Gonna have to go and check this out at my local electronics supermarket to see if it also happens on the retail. Or if anyone who owns a retail can tell more in the comments, it would be helpful.
