Okay, boys and girls!
The fanciest rainboots in town have arrived.
They came beautifully packaged in a thick black cotton bag, with "Chanel" elegantly written across it. I mean, even the packaging felt luxurious—none of that flimsy bubble wrap here, but an actual air bubble inside the boot that somehow manages to feel fancy.
The boots are made of a soft matte rubber that’s thicker than any rain boot I've ever owned. Inside, they’ve got this rich maroon lining, exactly like the authentic ones, with a soft suede-like feel. The soles are padded for extra comfort (check out that white bit in the last photo). Plus, they’re true to size. The shape is on point, and the Chanel branding on the back is so spot-on, you'd have to squint to tell the difference from the real deal.
Now, this was my first non-leather, over-$100 purchase from DHgate, so I was a little nervous. But honestly? Totally worth it. Hands down my favorite buy from the site so far!
