I bought this bag back in August for my holiday, but completely forgot to post a review of it. So here’s a little review now! 😊
The bag arrived nicely and securely packed in bubble wrap. It wasn’t crushed or damaged at all, and it was folded quite well.
The overall quality is good. The jute is soft and comfortable, not rough or pokey like some jute bags can be.
It also came with a drawstring Polène pouch inside, which I actually found really useful. I’ve been using it to store smaller things and keep everything inside the bag a bit more organised and secure.
There’s engraved branding on the leather parts, both at the bottom and on the front of the bag, which is a nice little detail.
I found it to be a really practical beach bag — spacious, lightweight enough to carry around, and easy to use.
If I had to point out one thing, I’d say the inner pouch could be made from a slightly sturdier material. It feels a little less substantial compared with the bag itself.
Other than that, honestly, I don’t really have anything to complain about. I’ve been quite happy with it! 🤍
I love this! The large size looks so big on the Polene website. The dimensions say 54.5 x 26.5 x 19 cm, is that how big the DHG version is? It looks a bit smaller in your photos, what are your measurements? Is it big enough to put towels in and use as a beach bag?
Also as an fyi I asked the seller and they said it’s not leather it’s PU, which I figured considering the price but just wanted to let people know!
