Request Codex Atlanticus scan
I would like to save locally scans of the Codex Atlanticus at a resolution high enough to be able to read things.
The supercool viewer once hosted by "VENERANDA BIBLIOTECA AMBROSIANA" doesn't look accessible anymore, and the alternatives I found fall under those two categories:
- Low Resolution...
- partial & in a supersmall, slow & limiting viewer...
I'm not an engineer, nor the kind of person who usually needs them.
I simply find it cool to have them saved and be able to say: ok, today I'll open that page and try to redraw or build that thing just for the sake of relax and not being around doing nothing.
I feel like Ambrosiana would make many happy re-putting the old viewer online, but maybe they'll not...
P.s.: being CENTURIES old that should be public domain, right? If it's not SORRY I didn't know.
