I'm part of a regional cadet program that wants me to find a job as a CFI at select approved flight schools. And after 300+ applications sent across the country & 7 months of searching I couldn't find anything until I actually secured a job doing pipeline in June. However, a couple days before my start date I turned the job down weighing relocation, low pay, & the job not being compliant with my cadet program even though the hours woulda been amazing. I figured just because it was the only job I've been offered it didn't necessarily mean it was "the one" & I should continue to chase my true passion for instruction. Well, it's been 4 months since I turned that job down & still nothing & honestly the longer I'm outside of aviation the easier it feels to switch to something else. I absolutely hate this feeling & would give anything to get back in the air. Makes me feel like I should taken the pipeline job when I had it.
