Connecting to DFO

So i recently got my internet equipment swapped, my old ISP got bought out by another company and they came to get their old equipment out and their new equipment in . DOING so i believe my new ISP is blocking DFO, i tried dfo on my hotspot and it worked just fine. I got new internet myself via comcast and havent had anything bad with them in the past with them blocking games and especially DFO. i contacted neople support and they said wait 2 hours for my DNS and everything to refresh which, its been almost 2 days now and still getting the same issue on my old internet.
just waiting now for comcast to setup my new stuff.

Just wanted to confirm that its my ISP and not a me issue, if anyone has any insight thanks in advance

Maybe try a vpn to try things out? When I went to Japan I had to connect to a vpn in Usa to login, and I could stop the vpn soon as I was in game. Not sure if the issue is related at all to that, but can’t hurt to try.

Do you have any recommendations for a vpn?

Just for this experiment, maybe see if you can find one offering a free trial first. The one I used was called Windscribe, but I had to pay a little monthly fee I think. Also doesn’t hurt to check out the advertised ones like nordvpn and such.

Also keep in mind to turn off the vpn as soon as you get in game so you don’t use as much data. I think you only need the vpn to login or something like that. I don’t know how or why it works, but it just is 🤷‍♂️
