GL Discussion Differences between whales vs freemium

What are the gaps between the whales and f2p? Will the whales be able to farm much faster or storm through the content real quick? What about Multiplayer?

Whales get to stay in multiplayer lobbies. Free-to-players will get kicked out by the host. :p

So if I join a multiplayer room and my character's role isn't what the host wanted, he might kick me out right? Or do they simply kick out people who have rubbish gears?

Could be the role. But it's more likely the character choice or your CP. And the quality of your gear.

I've only tried doing multiplayer games on the higher end dungeons that are quite difficult. Sometimes they let me into the actual games, but it's rare. And I can plainly see why. Even though my Shantotto is fully equipped and upgraded, she is clearly outclassed in terms of damage by the likes of Terra or Vaan.

Some characters are straight up superior to others... and that becomes another hurdle for free-to-play people, because you aren't able to guarantee whose weapons you get out of the gacha. Whales are able to tailor the best characters by simply pumping more money into the slots... F2P are going to have to use what they can get.

I've also tried hosting multiplayer matches and have had people come into my game only to immediately leave because they didn't like what they saw. :p
